As a new academic year begins, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has extended a warm welcome to over 1.2 million students resuming their studies across the nation. In a heartfelt audio message, he emphasized the crucial role that young people play as the “future of the nation.” Sheikh Mohamed expressed his congratulations to the students, their teachers, school administrators, and parents, while encouraging the student body to engage in continuous learning and to hone skills necessary for the future. He urged them to positively harness artificial intelligence and technology in their educational pursuits.
Sheikh Mohamed also highlighted the importance of collaboration between parents and educators to foster an environment that promotes creativity, a commitment to lifelong learning, and a robust sense of national identity and values. Across the country, more than 1,180 public and private schools have opened their doors once again, with several new institutions joining the UAE’s growing educational landscape. The return to school marks a renewed focus on achieving educational excellence and equipping students with the skills they need to succeed in an ever-evolving world.
