The United Arab Emirates has taken significant steps to aid civilians in Gaza by dispatching 980 tonnes of humanitarian assistance. This large-scale effort involved 62 trucks filled with essential supplies such as food, medical provisions, and shelter materials, all aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by those affected by the ongoing conflict.
These relief supplies were meticulously prepared at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre located in Al Arish, Egypt. This initiative is a part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, which commenced in October 2023. The operation has seen the UAE extend its support through various channels, including land, air, and sea, to ensure that aid reaches those in need efficiently.
In addition to supplying aid, the UAE has also been instrumental in establishing medical facilities to provide immediate care and relief. As part of its multifaceted approach, the nation has successfully evacuated thousands of injured and critically ill patients, ensuring they receive the necessary medical treatment.
