Rain is anticipated to fall across several regions of the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, as temperatures in certain inland areas could soar to 40°C. The forecast indicates fair to partly cloudy skies, with the development of convective clouds over northern, eastern, and southern areas, which may result in showers. Wind speeds are expected to vary between light to moderate, occasionally becoming fresh to strong, potentially raising dust.
Wind velocities are predicted to range from 10 to 25 km/h, with potential gusts reaching 45 km/h in inland regions and 40 km/h in mountainous areas. Inland temperatures are forecasted to range from 35°C to 40°C, while coastal areas and islands may experience temperatures between 33°C and 37°C. In mountainous areas, temperatures are expected to be cooler, ranging from 26°C to 32°C.
Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight and into Wednesday morning in some coastal and inland locations, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist formation. The Arabian Gulf is expected to experience slight to moderate conditions, whereas the Oman Sea is projected to remain slight.
The unsettled weather conditions, attributed to a surface low-pressure system accompanied by a weak upper-level low-pressure system, may persist until Saturday. On Wednesday, the development of rain-bearing clouds is possible over northern and eastern regions, with wind speeds potentially reaching 50 km/h. Additional rainfall is expected in eastern and southern areas on Thursday, primarily in eastern regions on Friday, and across eastern and northern areas on Saturday.
Overnight and early morning fog or mist may develop in some coastal and inland areas, particularly in western regions, as the weather remains changeable throughout the week.
