The United Arab Emirates is bracing for extreme summer temperatures, with forecasts predicting highs of up to 48°C in some inland regions. This surge in heat is expected over the coming days, as reported by meteorologists who anticipate stable weather patterns to dominate the country. The skies are likely to remain mostly clear, accompanied by light to moderate winds, with minimal chances of notable weather disturbances.

On Friday, temperatures in the interior areas are projected to vary between 44°C and 48°C. Meanwhile, coastal and island regions could experience temperatures ranging from 36°C to 43°C. Mountainous areas are expected to be somewhat cooler, with temperatures forecasted between 32°C and 39°C. Winds are predicted to blow from the southwest to northwest at speeds of 10 to 20kph, occasionally gusting up to 30kph. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are anticipated to remain slight.

The hot and predominantly clear weather conditions are set to persist through the weekend. On Saturday morning, low clouds might appear over parts of the eastern coast, and winds could strengthen at times, reaching speeds of up to 40kph. A slight dip in temperatures is expected on Sunday as northwesterly winds gain strength, potentially leading to rough seas in the Arabian Gulf, while the Sea of Oman is likely to remain slight to moderate.

Similar weather patterns are forecasted for Monday and Tuesday. The region can expect fair skies, occasional morning clouds along the eastern coast, and periods of fresh winds. As the new week progresses, sea conditions are expected to improve gradually. Meteorologists note that the UAE is entering a phase of typical early-summer weather, characterized by very hot daytime temperatures, clear skies, and generally stable atmospheric conditions.
