In a significant assembly held in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions with Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of Fujairah. The meeting underscored the UAE’s unwavering dedication to its citizens and its commitment to national advancement. Central to their talks was the assertion that the Emirati populace is integral to the nation’s developmental strategy, pivotal for realizing long-term ambitions. Additionally, they expressed hopes for the UAE’s ongoing security, prosperity, and progress.
Accompanying Sheikh Hamad was Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah. The gathering was marked by the presence of several prominent officials, including Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as well as Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Also in attendance were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Dr Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, along with a host of ministers and government officials.
This meeting is part of a series of regular consultations by the UAE leadership aimed at assessing national priorities, bolstering cooperation among the emirates, and enhancing the quality of life for both citizens and residents. Such discussions are crucial to ensuring that the country’s developmental strategies are aligned with the needs and aspirations of its people.
The talks follow a prior visit by President Sheikh Mohamed to Fujairah in April, where he and Sheikh Hamad toured Fujairah Port. During that visit, they reviewed ongoing development projects and operational improvements at this key maritime gateway, reflecting the UAE’s focus on strategic infrastructure and economic growth.
