The cinematic buffet is looking a bit lean this fall, but patrons are being promised a massive holiday feast to make up for it. The year has already served up some delectable hits, including the surprisingly popular Weapons, which has satisfied audiences to the tune of $148.8 million worldwide.
The 2025 menu has been diverse and satisfying. The main course was arguably Jurassic World Rebirth, a blockbuster dish that earned a stunning $828 million. There were also plenty of exciting appetizers, like the horror film Sinners, that proved to be crowd-pleasers.
For the next several weeks, however, the buffet will offer a more limited selection. The dishes will be smaller, like the satire The Rose and the drama Caught Stealing. While the fifth course of The Conjuring will be familiar and comforting for many, the overall spread is less impressive.
The kitchen is just preparing for the main event. Starting in October, the chefs will unveil a holiday feast of epic proportions. The menu will feature major dishes like Tron: Ares, Wicked: For Good, Predator: Badlands, and Zootopia 2, ensuring every moviegoer leaves the year feeling full and satisfied.
